FULL VIDEO: Over 750 signatures on family’s holiday tablecloth that’s been a tradition for 57 years

NOKOMIS, Fl (WWSB) - Do you have a family tradition? I mean we’re talking a real tradition, a little over 10 years.

ABC 7′s Digital Producer, Kamara Daughtry interviewed a family whose kept the same tablecloth for 57 years.

Jack and Sandy Pritchard have kept their family tradition going since 1961. Jack’s mother gave him a red tablecloth where anyone who came over for the holidays signed it.

It’s a conversation piece, that sparks up talk about marriages, births, military deployments and even divorces.

“It’s kind of a family history log, if you will, over the years, [are] memories and you’ll look back and say oh I remember that Christmas!”, Jack said.

The tablecloth has traveled to Hawaii and other places around the United States for their family to sign it.

Family members and guests sign the tablecloth with a pen and later Sandy takes it to get embroidered.

The tablecloth has over 750 signatures.
