Ingredients:

  • 12 oz lg.  shrimp
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • 2 Tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 oz. thinly sliced ginger
  • 1 Cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbs Mirin
  • 1 Cup mixed veggies
  • ½ Tbs white pepper
  • ½ Tbs soy sauce
  • 1 Tbs corn starch
  • 2 Tbs water
  • 1 egg white (beaten)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt and sugar
  2. Sautee garlic and ginger at medium heat until aromatic
  3. Add shrimp to pan and cook until opaque
  4. Add chicken broth, mirin, vegetables, pepper and soy sauce to pan and bring to simmer
  5. Slowly pour egg whites into pan to create ribbons
  6. Make a slurry with corn starch and water, pur into pan while stirring vigorously
  7. Serve with steamed white rice and enjoy!
